Global and Local

Empower Christian Church is more than a building and bigger than just a Sunday Service - its impact is felt in our local communities and overseas every day of the week.

Empower Global

Reaching out globally, we support our friends in Central Vietnam (Paul and Deb Hilton) to see lasting change brought to the people of that country. We work alongside Aussie and Vietnamese workers in Community Development and building the local church, and take trips to experience some “hands on” action.

Then over to Thailand where Tim and Bronwyn Perry and their four kids are, they only recently left Australia in May 08. We believe in their vision to establish a vibrant ministry to youth and children in Northern Thailand.

In Cambodia we support Christie Arena. Christie was to spend a year in Cambodia and then return home; but since being in the community she has developed a heart for the Country and will continue on supporting the missionaries there.

Empower Local

Our Bus is being put to good use in our community, visiting nursing homes, bringing people with no transport to church and kids to Youth - and there is so much more to do with this great resource.

We continue to work closely with our local primary schools, where we have built a close bond with the staff. The kids absolutely love our guys who run their R.E Program, and have welcomed them as part of the school family.

Empower assists the schools in the running, organisation and financing of a number of special events - the proceeds of which have gone on to improve the quality of facilities and curriculum at the school.
